Lately, busy dengan research (since defence session tak buat apa lagi), progress report pon belum buat, sibuk kene design poster CIB, Cameron Outing, freelance i.d..suri rumah (masak, kemas rumah, basuh baju, lipat baju..huhu). Masa 24 jam rasa cam tak cukup. Mujur la ada lotion baru - Vaseline. Bau dia sangat calming..lepas mandi, relax, sapu lotion..sangat selesa. Siapa nak try, silakan..best!

I temankan Aishah ke Ikea coz dia nk beli almari..Urmm tgk dia beli almari, teringin plak nk almari baru (coz almari lama penuh dengan koleksi jersey-jersey hubby)..Tapi tak per, rasa nya dalam masa akan datang ni maybe pindah umah..so pending dulu plan nk beli katil baru ker, almari baru ker... Then, tetiba teringat yang I nak sangat watch Alice In The Wonderland. I grown up with this story. Then, beli tickets untuk the next day..yeay!

Setelah habis dimakan

Actually kita orang nak lepak tepi jalan, makan durian and borak - borak.. Abang Durian tu pon layan jer kitaorang. Padahal makan 2 biji ja. RM23 ok untuk durian yang kecik tue..Hihi.. That was happen on weekday. Weekend pulak, I ngn hubby nak beli shelves utk kitchen..unfortunately shelf tu out of stock pulak dah..hai manusia, kenapa la you all suka sangat shopping?? Hihi dah abih tu SALES kan... takper la, tak der rezeki kali ni.

Then, hang out tgk football game..then pergi  The Borders, beli mag. Then ke Cineleisure belek-belek buku murah. Kat sini memang banyak choice..you name it nak cari apa, baru ker yang dah lama.

Remodel your living room with furniture that you own

My sister (my senior that I knew since I was in boarding school) asked for my opinion for her living room. And she says it is a gift for her husband. Sweet kan? So I have a few images for her to choose and start DIY or I will help her on shopping part also..hehehe (I can stay for many hours at SSF of Fella you know).

If you hire an interior designer like me, we will suggest for built-in furniture (such display cabinet etc) and do renovation start with wet works (wall, ceiling, floor) and electrical work. Tapi kalau you just nak remodel your living room, these tips may help you.

Tapi kene ingat, proposal ni tak termasuk wet works okay (mengecat semula, hacking etc.)

Start with the sofa and place perfectly..Bagusnya if you can mix and match your sofa and sitting unit.

Stand lamp or wall lamp..You need a warm light sometimes instead of white.

Window treatment..Consider 2 track railing for day and night curtain (Is good to place the track

up to the ceiling to give higher effect to your space height).

Carpet rugs..

Display cabinet..kalau you jenis yang suka ubah-ubah layout maybe you choose loose one..easily

remove-and solid wood is the best!

Some paintings, framed photos, and a huge clock will help a lot for the wall treatment.
Antique hanging clock like this gives character to our space.

Throw cushions (variety of color and material-thai silk etc)

Place some artificial or fresh flowers to your space (I prefer pokok berdaun like lidah buaya, keladi daun besar or pokok duit-duit) untuk nampak kan space lebih lively.

For me, tak semestinya semua furniture perlu beli yang baru. Kita boleh ubahsuai ikut concept yang kita ingin kan..contoh if you have sofa (yang fabricnya boleh dibuka-basuh) that mean kita boleh re-dye semula color fabric sofa kita ke warna lain. Dining table pon boleh cat semula (e.g: material-timber & cast iron).

Malas betul nak masak for dinner arini..
Dalam fridge pon dah tak der vege or fish to cook..
nak gi Giant pon rasa cam malas - malas..
End up nya ajak hubby makan kat Ikea restaurant ja la coz I nak makan BBQ chicken
plus a cup of broccoli letak gravy..yum yum..
tapi malas keluarkan digicam time tu..so tak der capture lah.
Met old time friend kat boarding school dulu..dah nak kawen- congrats Pak Wan!

After dinner, jalan-jalan kat dlm Ikea jap coz kitaorang plan nk beli loose shelf utk letak kat kitchen..
I berangan nk arrange all my cooking stuff, spices suma cam chef Michael Smith (Chef at Home-my
fav tv show). Ada banyak balang - balang and upper shelf nanti ada plants!

Defence Proposal at Pusat Penyelidikan & Siswazah, FSPU

Alhamdulillah..selesai semua. Setelah berhempas pulas menyiapkan proposal (that involved time, money, efforts), akhirnya dah selesai. Tapi ader lagi cabaran lain yg menanti selepas ni. Start collecting data (so lepas ni banyak la keluar compare dari duk office)..and then, analyse and that's it, FINDING!

For those yang dah biasa dengan dunia research ni, research memerlukan kita banyak membaca journals, buku, articles and yang paling penting tu baca and analyse sekali ya! Kene la analyse apa yang cuba disampaikan oleh author tu dalam articlenya. So dengan erti kata lain, sesiapa yang nak berkecimpung dalam bidang akademik macam aku ni, kene la sentiasa ada mind set utk ber'research'.

The defence session yesterday that assessed by Dr. Ismail, Dr. Zaharah & Dr. Hafazah was going well. Comments given from the session akan diambil tindakan secepat mungkin! Bangga sekejap bila kene puji dengan Dr. Masran about the presentation slides..hihi. Balik umah that day, terus ucap terima kasih pada hubby coz begitu memahami ( selalu balik lewat dr office) and buat keje hujung minggu.

Sebagai ucapan terima kasih, I ajak hubby makan kat Bubba Gump Shrimp. Best betul dinner malam tu..sambil cerita-cerita kisah lama. Hope terus dapat sokongan hubby sampai PhD nanti! =)
